The Long Lunch: Conversation Over Time

The Long Lunch brings together an equal number of founders and investors around a single table for a shared, multi-course meal at London's famous Smith's Bar & Grill on London's Little Venice Canal in Paddington. Time is treated as an asset rather than a constraint, allowing conversations to deepen and evolve over the course of the afternoon.

There is no pitching, no formal agenda and no expectation of follow-up.

Instead, the focus is on listening, perspective and shared experience, creating the conditions in which meaningful relationships can begin long before capital conversations are appropriate.

How It Works

Guests are seated at a long communal table, with lightly facilitated seat changes between courses. This ensures that everyone meets several different people over the course of the lunch, while still allowing conversations to unfold naturally rather than being forced.
